ZABLUDOWICZ COLLECTION INVITES VOL. 2 / £15.00
Zabludowicz Collection Invites offers emerging artists the platform of a solo exhibition and presentation event. It focuses on those without commercial gallery representation at the time of invitation. Over 50 Invites projects have been staged since the series began in 2012. This publication surveys the 26 projects that took place between September 2015 and December 2019. Invites is curated Paul Luckraft, with input from the Collection team who actively seek out and give opportunities to artists whose work may not fit comfortably into the commercial gallery model. The exhibitions and events have included traditional art forms as well as performances, music, Artificial Intelligence and legal research. All of the artist's that have undertaken an Invites exhibition have gone on to do projects and exhibitions, many in major institutions. Invites Vol.2, and its sister Vol.1, are a vital document of the very best young contemporary art produced by artists based in the UK.
