This edition was produced to coincide with the group exhibition, Pete and Repeat, Zabludowicz Collection, London, 23 September - 13 December 2009.

Doug Fishbone narrates his sequences of images with a delivery reminiscent of a stand-up comedian or a subdued evangelical preacher. What might appear to be peculiar juxtapositions are in fact carefully constructed sequences of images and ideas, questioning our preconceptions and assumed knowledge of fields as varied as religion, politics, medicine and the media. By making a series of far-fetched but not altogether unbelievable connections in his work, Fishbone reveals the spurious nature of strategies used by advertising, media and politics to coerce or even trick the public into behaving a certain way.

All proceeds from our editions are split equally between the artist and the Zabludowicz Collection.
